About Us Jo study English Academy is a private language school, designed for students under the age of 18. It is officially accredited by British Council Accreditation, and English UK, and operates as a registered company in England and Wales. The school offers winter, spring, and summer camps for both individuals and groups. In addition, it also provides closed-group programmes as a mini stay programme. The main objective of the school is to create a secure and efficiently managed environment where students can acquire knowledge, forge new friendships, and gain insight into the United Kingdom. Job Description General Accounting: General accounting tasks (journal entries, bank reconciliations, monthly closings, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll etc.); Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with local regulations. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records. Controlling and Reporting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights to local management and headquarter board. Prepare periodic management reports for local and group-level stakeholders. Collaborate with the group finance team at headquarters to ensure alignment with corporate policies and requirements. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, company policies, and group standards. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize accounting processes and enhance financial controls. Ensure support to the various departments of the group, to facilitate the functional activities necessary for business development. Leverage technology and tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a financial point of contact between the local entity and the group headquarters. Provide financial support to operational departments to ensure alignment with business goals Requirements Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Previous experience in similar roles, preferably in small/medium-sized companies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Proficiency in management tools and MS Office (particularly Excel); Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
