An opportunity to be a Management Reporting Accountant for an independent service business who are a national company based in Rubery, with thousands of clients around the UK who use their services. Main Duties:

As a Management Reporting Accountant, your main duties include: Provide day-to-day support to the management accounts team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records for the group. Take ownership of balance sheet accounts and ensure reconciliations are accurate. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns. Prepare and present management accounts with comprehensive commentary and analysis. Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making. Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate accounting entries and provide business partnering support. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal systems and processes to achieve best-in-class standards. Support the annual audit process. Provide reports as required to support annual budgets and reforecasts. Undertake ad hoc analysis and business partnering as needed. Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Rubery. The company's modern office is home to a large team that has a supportive, family-like culture. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and, due to ongoing growth, offers great chances for progression.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have: (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Qualified, but we welcome candidates who are part-qualified or finalists. ACA studiers who have failed an exam, or practice candidates from smaller practices are also welcome. Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Highly effective organisational and planning abilities. Able to consistently meet deadlines. Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
