Search are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid and flexible working. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage financial operations through the provision of financial reporting and analysis to support informed decision making.

If you are a Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant looking to gain exposure in a varied role and to work closely with senior stakeholders, you would be encouraged to apply.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the site Preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports, including P&L and balance sheet Producing updates on project performance and cash flow Supervising payroll processes and ensuring accurate reporting Managing the accounts payable and sales process Delivering bank reconciliations and effective cash flow management Preparing monthly journals

Key skills and experience you'll ideally have:

Part-Qualified or fully Qualified Accountant Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with a strong ability to analyse and work with large datasets Demonstrable commercial awareness and business acumen Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders Strong IT skills and exposure to system implementation would be beneficial Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
