The role We are seeking an International Depot Operations and Procurement Manager to lead cross-regional operations, focusing on reducing storage and depot emissions. This role is crucial to our activities, technical installations, and value-added services, including Smart Return Logistics (SRL) and traceability. You will optimize depot processes for operational excellence, analyze and improve processes, propose enhancements, and implement cost reduction activities while maintaining high service levels. Developing and maintaining an international KPI structure, performing regular benchmarking, and sharing best practices will be key. In this dynamic role, you will manage supply chain projects at a divisional level, ensuring collaboration between central and local organizations on supply chain processes and depot infrastructure projects. You will provide the International Operations Manager with relevant management information and drive international operations into traceability, aligning IT landscapes to support value-added services. Sustainability is at the heart of this role. You will lead the sustainability program to reduce our carbon footprint from depot and storage emissions, working with suppliers, universities, startups, and logistics partners to support our sustainability strategy. Regularly tracking and reporting emissions, staying updated on market developments, and ensuring compliance with EU legislation will be crucial. Will you drive international operations into traceability and align IT landscapes? Your leadership will extend to managing the assigned organizational unit, including people, performance, budget, and working conditions. You will ensure clear task definitions, set priorities, and coordinate timely and accurate task execution. Coaching and challenging employees to maximize performance and satisfaction, while managing budgets and ensuring compliance with SHEQ policies and legislation, will be part of your daily responsibilities. Additionally, you will manage the procurement of equipment, evaluating suppliers, negotiating agreements, and overseeing supplier and vendor contracts. Your expertise will ensure that procurement processes are efficient and aligned with our operational needs. This role bridges technical and engineering processes, particularly within depots in all related areas such as Maintenance, Consumables and Overall Equipment Effectiveness improvements. You will lead projects related to scanning, sanitizing, and automation within washing and improvement/automation projects in the depots. The role requires technical knowledge preferable on production lines as most of the team members and projects involve an engineer background. Furthermore, this role is data and process-driven, requiring a person who enjoys spending time at various locations. Therefore, travelling is an important component of the job, with a maximum of 50% of your time.
