The role will encompass a lot of different areas including facilities management and health and safety risk management: We are looking for a competent candidate familiar with the current health and safety regulations and COSHH handling. The ideal candidate will also be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified. You will be responsible for the site and buildings ensuring that all areas are in a fit and healthy state of repair. You will ensure compliance with regulations and conduct periodic testing of electrical systems across the site. You will oversee the contract cleaning for the site. You will monitor and oversee the security and CCTV for the site and other buildings. You will be managing a team of 3, offering comprehensive support, mentoring, and coaching. You will be responsible for keeping an accurate record of incidents and accidents using RIDDOR guidelines. Conduct annual inspections and site visits. Regularly test all equipment, including PAT testing for fixed appliances and control of legionella in accordance with health and safety regulations. Manage inventory and stock control of supplies. Management of utilities, such as gas, water, and waste management across the site. Fire evacuation and maintaining relationships with fire and ambulance services. You may have experience in estates, facilities, and health and safety working as an experienced manager. You will be familiar with COSHH handling. You will have a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification. You will be familiar with risk assessments using RIDDOR techniques. You will have managed or supervised other staff and be accustomed to a busy and fast-paced role. You may have experience in the public sector, healthcare, NHS, or charity sector. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and work as part of a team. Also hold a UK driver's license.
