Strategic Planning:

Working with the Technology Product Owners and the Finance Controller, to develop and implement a strategic vision for the finance systems Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance financial processes and ongoing efficiency

System Implementation and Integration:

Oversee the implementation and delivery of new systems into the finance team, with on-going support for system updates and releases, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity Collaborate with Technology team to ensure financial requirements for new and existing technologies are understood, and that finance are maximising the benefits of these technologies

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies Establish and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive financial information

Users and Master Data Management: Maintain controls over the Unit 4 ERPx system hierarchies, chart of accounts, and reporting calendars whilst ensuring changes are reflected across all related platforms. Ensuring adequate security controls and segregation of duties exists within the various financial systems and user roles within financial applications Continuous Improvement:

Implement best practices for system usage, automation, and optimization Regularly assess and enhance system performance to meet evolving business requirement

Relationship Management:

Collaborate with Technology Product owners to assist with managing supplier relationships, and staying abreast of system updates and enhancements Support Technology in evaluating and recommending new vendors or solutions to enhance finance system operations First point of contact for the finance team for system failures, or financial data discrepancies, with supporting triaging of tickets to the correct Technical Product owners or to external helpdesk support Support the External statutory audit process

Training and Development:

Develop training programmes for end-users to maximize system utilisation Provide ongoing support and education to ensure users are proficient with the finance systems, including onboarding new employees.
