Job Purpose: This position is ideal for a part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional with substantial post-qualification experience in a practice environment. Strong technical expertise is essential, along with the confidence and capability to manage a diverse client portfolio effectively.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the finance team to prepare weekly and monthly management accounts Preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns Management of a portfolio of clients Staff supervision and mentorship Business development and networking Workflow management Preparing Self Assessments Advising client tax related matters Dealing with HMRC Corporate accounts, corporation tax returns, Capital gains tax VAT returns review and submission Highly experienced in XERO accounting software and working knowledge of multiple software such as Forbes, Sage, Kashflow, Quickbook, Free Agent etc.
Person Specification: Part-qualified or qualified by experience ACCA, ACA certification Proven experience in a similar finance practice role Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and Xero Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey key information effectively to colleagues and internal/external stakeholders
