NB: THIS ROLE IS ON SITE IN GLASGOW Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with our client to appoint a new Head of Development for the growing Tech function. This is a fantastic, new opportunity to join a transforming Technology journey, responsible for overseeing software deliverables across a large team of engineers both in the UK and overseas. We're looking for someone from a software background who has moved into management or has experience leading a large team reporting to the most senior levels within an organisation. This is a true leadership role to drive quality software solutions and the vision and strategy of the future TOM for our client's business. We're looking for someone with a strong grasp of CI and experience overseeing software and QA teams in a fast-moving private sector software environment. You'll have outstanding mentorship and personal development experience, along with solid stakeholder management experience up to C-level. Essential Skills: Extensive Technology Leadership skills within software development Specific experience leading teams across Front End and Back End technologies Experience of managing a large (50+) multi-location software team Earlier career in software engineering, having progressed into senior leadership over the past number of years Experience of embedding best practice development techniques across a large, multi-location team Based local to Glasgow as this is an on-site role PLEASE APPLY WITH CV IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.
