An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned legal professional to step into the role of Corporate Legal Director within a global organization. This senior position offers the chance to lead a high-performing legal function and collaborate with top-level leadership to guide the business through complex corporate legal matters and strategic initiatives. They will consider someone on a contract or permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: To provide expert guidance on a wide range of corporate legal issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to support business goals. Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex corporate finance agreements and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Navigate and manage legal considerations related to debt finance, including structuring and documenting financial transactions. Collaborate across departments to identify and mitigate legal risks, while ensuring robust compliance strategies are in place. Stay ahead of evolving laws, regulations, and industry trends to address challenges and identify opportunities. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years PQE with significant experience in a regional or leadership capacity. Significant experience in M&A, refinancing, and drafting complex corporate legal documents. Comfortable navigating the challenges of a multinational organization and working autonomously on sophisticated legal issues. Strong academic background and training from a top-tier law firm, coupled with high-calibre in-house or international exposure. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
