Senior iOS Engineer

for a high-impact 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully remote opportunity within the UK, offering the chance to contribute to the evolution of a widely recognised platform with millions of active users. This role provides a rare opportunity to work on large-scale business transformation initiatives, modernising app platforms and delivering impactful solutions. You'll be joining a dynamic, multi-disciplinary engineering team passionate about creating user-friendly, innovative technology. What You'll Do As a hands-on Senior iOS Engineer, you'll: Drive app modernisation initiatives, building, testing, and releasing iOS applications using a continuous delivery pipeline. Develop high-quality, testable, and well-documented code that aligns with commercial standards. Work with

Swift

and

SwiftUI , applying clean architecture patterns like MVVM. Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication with Back End services. Apply accessibility standards, performance testing, and UI/UX principles to enhance app usability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, Back End, web, and app engineers) on a high-traffic platform. Mentor fellow engineers, review pull requests, and uphold development best practices. What We're Looking For Proven expertise in iOS development , with experience delivering scalable, user-friendly apps. Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest, XCUITest, and version control systems like Git. Familiarity with

component-based development

(SPM), Apple technologies, and tools like Instruments. Experience with Kotlin Preferred Skills Experience with

Firebase

and

Google Cloud Platform . Familiarity with

BFF microservice patterns

and performance optimisation. A product-focused mindset with a keen sense of user experience.
