Service Engineer (Agricultural Machinery) in Winchester
Newstaff Recruitment Agency is recruiting for a Service Engineer (Agricultural Machinery) on behalf of a company based in Winchester.
Salary:
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and overtime
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and test a variety of machinery, primarily in agriculture but also within commercial vehicles or construction industries. Interact with customers to provide excellent service and build strong relationships, ensuring a positive customer experience. Operate machinery on-site as needed for diagnostic and testing purposes. Essential Requirements: Prior experience with a range of machinery, ideally in agriculture, commercial vehicles, or construction. Relevant qualifications in Land-Based Engineering are desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Full UK driving licence. Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to the needs of the business, particularly during peak seasons. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm; Friday, 8 am to 3:30 pm (39-hour week). Overtime available (Mon-Sat at time and a half, Sunday and Bank Holidays at double time with a day in lieu). Some weekend work may be required, especially during peak harvest seasons.
