The role will likely suit a candidate with experience managing utility scale grid connection, looking for more responsibility and career development opportunities within an ambitious company with funding in place to develop projects. About the Role: The main day-to-day of the role will be to provide leadership & strategy to their grid connection across Utility Scale Solar & Storage. The business also has an established Smart Grid & EV department, and the role will allow involvement and responsibility from a technical perspective working with these departments. Responsibilities: You’ll be responsible for establishing internal processes and procedures for Grid Connection. Providing technical engineering expertise and working closely with the internal Planning, Development and Finance teams assessing projects within the existing pipeline. Building and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including TSOs, DNO’s, EPC Contractors etc. Providing technical updates up to senior leadership and board level.
