Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Head for Europe to lead our sales and marketing efforts for the European region, including the UK, France, the Netherlands, Italy, German, etc. The successful Regional Business Head for Europe will have an exceptional track record in sales operations with a data-driven approach to decisions. You will ideally have worked in an enterprise-scale business and made the transition to a high growth entrepreneurial business, or be highly capable and passionate to make this move. You will already be in retail management level and be seen as a highly credible leader with the stature and experience to operate at the main decision-making level. This position demands not only a strong sales acumen but also the ability to adapt quickly to the dynamic and ever-changing market environment in Europe. The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Moreover, a deep understanding of local cultures and business practices is crucial for building strong relationships and driving business success in the region. Strong leadership skills are essential to inspire and motivate the team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. The Regional Business Head must also have a strategic vision to identify new opportunities and navigate potential challenges, ensuring the sustainable growth and profitability of the business in Europe. What you're up to: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and expansion of the retail business in the European region. Manage and oversee the operations of multiple markets/countries, ensuring they meet or exceed performance targets in terms of sales, profits, and customer satisfaction. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business development and differentiation. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and local authorities to ensure smooth business operations. Lead and manage a team of regional managers and store staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor and control budgets, costs, and inventory levels to optimize financial performance. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies in all aspects of business operations. Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement in business processes and performance. What you're good at : Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. Proven track record of success in new mark deployment or sales & marketing leadership roles in Retail industry, preferably within the European Region. Thorough understanding of the European retail market, encompassing consumer behavior, market trends, and the competitive landscape across all channels. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the capacity to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce. Robust strategic thinking and business planning capabilities, capable of formulating and implementing effective growth strategies for omni-channel operations. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in all channels. Proficiency in English and at least one other European language. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the aptitude to make data-driven decisions in an omni-channel context. Adaptability and flexibility to handle changes and challenges in a dynamic omni-channel business environment. Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational efficiency across all sales channels.
