TECHNICAL ADVISOR - GLOBAL LEADING ROOFING & WATERPROOFING MANUFACTURER
Job Description Exciting opportunity to join a leading brand within the Roofing & Waterproofing product sector focusing on Flat roofing, pitched roofing, waterproofing membranes, Singly Ply and Felts aligned for both New Build and Refurbishment projects. The company not only boasts excellent training, a strong name in the market but also the opportunity for both personal and career progression.
The Role The role is to work within the clients technical department focusing on any roofing issues that may arise. This includes looking over and creating AutoCAD drawings, overseeing project specifications of both new build and refurbishments, giving advice on any installation issues and product queries, supporting inbound and outbound clients including approved contractors, architects, local authorities, and surveyors. Additionally, the role involves being the point of contact for any technical issues/questions that may arise throughout any live projects. Throughout the role, you will be keeping in regular contact with the field sales executives to lend support and advice where needed. The role offers hybrid working with the office being based in Buckinghamshire.
The Candidate The client is looking to hear from candidates who have experience of working within the roofing construction sector, ideally from a similar technician or technical advisor role. However, the client is open to speaking to candidates who have either been working as a CAD Technician, working as an estimator, or in a technical position for another manufacturer within the building product sector.
