Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Contract Manager to develop and manage all aspects of flooring contract administration. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, an understanding of legal terminology, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. They will also have good knowledge of the flooring industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring that contracts are gained, executed efficiently, comply with regulations, and meet organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
Win, draft, review, and negotiate commercial flooring contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with legal standards.
Collaborate with internal colleagues to gather requirements and ensure that all contractual obligations are met.
Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
Maintain accurate records of contracts and related documentation for audit purposes.
Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding contract-related queries.
Conduct risk assessments and complete all necessary health and safety documentation related to contracts, proposing mitigation strategies.
Be willing to independently search, apply for, and be successful in gaining commercial flooring contracts.
Experience
Proven experience in commercial flooring contract management or a related field is essential.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills are required.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in contract management websites.
