Purpose of Role: The HR Business Partner for Business Services at Harbour Energy is a strategic role designed to integrate HR policies and practices with the Legal and Finance functions, enhancing operational effectiveness and supporting the company’s objectives within the oil and gas industry. This role is crucial for: Aligning HR strategies with the specific needs of Finance and Legal functions Advising and supporting leaders in the Finance and Legal functions on all HR-related matters Supporting the development of talent management, development, and retention strategies for Finance and Legal professionals Enhancing employee engagement and performance in alignment with company objectives Ensuring HR practices contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate functions Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence: Strategic Partnership:
Act as a strategic partner to the Finance and Legal departments, understanding their unique challenges and objectives Talent Management:
Identify talent development needs and opportunities within these functions, promoting training and professional growth Performance Management:
Facilitate the performance management process, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and Harbour Energy’s standards Change Management:
Lead and support change management initiatives within the Finance and Legal departments, facilitating smooth transitions and maintaining productivity Employee Engagement:
Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within these functions HR Policy and Compliance:
Ensure HR policies are consistently applied within these functions, aligning with legal and regulatory requirements Compensation and Benefits:
Provide support on compensation and benefits, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards Recruitment and Onboarding:
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process for these functions, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent Diversity and Inclusion:
Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within Finance and Legal departments, contributing to Harbours Values and Behaviours Health and Safety Environment:
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation, and Harbour Energy HSES procedures Critical Skills: Academic Qualifications:
Degree in relevant field; further education or certifications in HR preferred Relevant Experience:
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with specific experience supporting Finance and Legal departments in the oil and gas industry or a comparable sector. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and CultureAmp preferred Strategic Thinking:
Ability to think strategically and provide insightful HR solutions that support departmental and company-wide objectives Legal and Financial Acumen:
Strong understanding of the legal and financial aspects affecting HR practices, particularly in the context of the oil and gas industry Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
