The Person:
ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience
Or studying towards ACCA/ACA professional accounting qualification
A minimum of two years of practice experience is essential
Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised and self-motivated
Team player who is not afraid to put forward ideas
Willing to help develop and train junior staff
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation of draft corporation tax computations for review by the firm’s tax department
Lead a team completing external audits, from initial planning stage through to completion
Working and liaising with colleagues in other departments as necessary to provide high-quality client service
Ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and set deadlines
Ability to appropriately train junior members of staff
Report directly to a Manager
