Arm Solution Engineering organization delivers complex solutions from systems specifications, through FE & validation, physical implementation and Silicon Demonstrators. Join our dynamic Front End design team, a key part of Arm's Solutions Engineering! We are a dedicated group of engineers developing complete subsystem solutions (Control Subsystems, GPU Subsystem, Safety Island) and SoC IPs for a wide range of market segments including mobile, server, IoT, automotive, and more. Our solutions build on the output of Arm IP teams, using the latest IP products from Arm and selected 3rd party vendors to provide fully integrated and optimised designs. Responsibilities:

Staff engineers on the design team are required to have in-depth understanding across all the elements that contribute to the products’ successful delivery. You will own and drive development of a complex part of the subsystem throughout all stages of project work. Your key responsibilities will include writing micro-architecture specifications, developing the RTL and performing various design checks, while closely working with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues and the implementation team to optimise those designs. Additionally, you will guide and support other members of the team, as a technical reviewer or as a lead. Required skills and experience:

Hands-on, comprehensive knowledge of System Verilog or Verilog HDL for RTL design Proven track record of RTL design for complex SoC or IP development Experience in the following areas: static design checks, power and clock domain crossing, synthesis Solid understanding of the fundamentals of computer architecture and systems and practical experience of working on Processor based system designs Knowledge of scripting eg Python, Perl or unix shell scripting Technical team leadership, mentoring or coaching 'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:

Experience with Arm-based designs, Arm System Architectures and AMBA standards Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet etc. High level programming experience such as C/C++ and/or assembly language programming Working in global IP and SoC development projects In Return:
