Job Description
Senior Credit Analyst (Project Finance)
Assist Relationship Managers in preparing and delivering detailed analysis and recommendations for a portfolio of corporate clients, covering both annual reviews and new transaction proposals. Concentrate on project finance, infrastructure, structured finance, and real estate portfolios across the UK, Europe, and the EMEA region. Tasks include financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and financial forecasting. Conduct research and compile industry and sector-specific reports. Monitor the performance of existing project finance deals and assess internal credit ratings. Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and the Credit Risk team. Participate in client meetings and jointly structure transactions with Relationship Managers. The Successful Applicant A minimum of 5-7 years of experience producing and presenting credit analysis within a Commercial, Corporate, or Investment Banking setting. Ideally, this includes demonstrated expertise in Project Finance credit analysis at a leading bank or financial institution. Comprehensive understanding of cash flow lending and financing structures. Advanced credit analysis skills, including financial statement evaluation, sector research, and financial modelling. Familiarity with banking products from a credit risk perspective, such as overdrafts, syndicated loans, term loans, guarantees, and letters of credit. Degree-level education, with formal credit or accounting qualifications being a plus. Proficiency in written and spoken English; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.
