Head of English (PRU)

Dunbar Education is collaborating with a centre in North West London that is looking for a Head of Department/Faculty for English. The school is a PRU, so we are looking for candidates with experience in PRU/SEMH/AP settings and supporting students who have behaviour issues and/or have been excluded from mainstream education.

Responsibilities: Manage the English department and oversee curriculum delivery. Support students with behaviour issues and provide appropriate interventions. Work collaboratively with other faculty members to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching English and/or similar subjects. Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.

The role is a full-time position based at the school and can be either a long-term temporary or permanent role. The rate for this position will vary depending on experience but will be competitive with the Teacher scale.

To apply, please attach a copy of your CV.
