Job Description Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the Accounts team of six ensuring alignment with the companies Strategy. Manage all accounting operations, including management accounts, sales and purchase ledgers, expenses, financial reporting, stock, fixed assets, VAT, and payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and regulations. Oversee the production and interpretation of management accounts, enhancing their use as a management tool. Manage the Association's cash and working capital to maintain appropriate reserves. Prepare accurate financial management information to meet monthly and year-end deadlines. Work closely with budget holders to analyse variances and provide commentary as necessary. Develop and maintain the Association's Financial Management Manual. Streamline and modernize financial processes across the company, ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting. Lead the budgeting process, providing financial analysis and guidance on all plans and activities. Act as the primary interface with external auditors, addressing and implementing improvements as needed. Support the work of the Audit and Risk Committee. Deputise for the Finance Director when necessary. The Successful Applicant Relevant professional qualification. Post-qualification experience in relevant legal fields.
