are delighted to be exclusively working with a high growth, acquisitive business on the Wirral, helping them with their search for an ambitious Qualified/Finalist level Accountant wanting to step into a more commercial, FP&A focussed role. Reporting into the Group Finance Manager, you will have a broad set of responsibilities as you help establish a high quality commercial finance & reporting function. Main duties will include: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to provide insights and recommendations Prepare presentations and reports for senior management to support decision-making Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives Support month-end and year-end financial close processes Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function Collaborating with business partners to understand their financial needs Performing variance analysis and identifying key drivers of financial performance Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis Participating in budget meetings and providing support for budget owners Communicating findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Candidate profile: Previous financial modelling and forecasting experience Advanced excel usage – ideally further experience using reporting tools i.e Power BI Part Qualified / Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
