An opportunity has arisen to join an innovative business specialising in the production of market leading products within their sector. This company is making a serious impact within the sector and is gaining global recognition.
This is a newly created Management Accountant role that is designed to provide impactful support to the onsite senior management team whilst also taking ownership of producing full MI packs for the site.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, other main duties will consist of;
Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices and control environment
Support Ops teams to understand real time and variable costs within the production process
Provide senior management with commercial insights designed to aid decision making
Preparation of the monthly journal postings & support in MI Preparation
Timely preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accountability for highlighting discrepancies
VAT return preparation
Support the team with analytical reporting, interpreting matter ledgers and time recording.
Working capital management and production of cashflow forecasts
Candidate profile:
CIMA/ACCA Qualified
Previous Management Accountant role – ability to produce full sets of management accounts – essential
Comfortable working independently
Excellent communicator – exposure to c-suite stakeholders
