Remote – however required to attend Leicester HQ weekly Frequent travel throughout UK to visit settings A UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role 10% annual bonus subject to performance Leased electric car Free onsite car parking Close to park and ride (HQ) About the role With further nursery acquisition in the pipeline, the Operations Director will be instrumental in providing strategic direction and operational efficiency across all nursery settings ensuring regulatory compliance and financial sustainability are achieved at each location. Directly managing a team of Operations/Quality Managers, the Operations Director will foster a culture of accountability and high performance which includes ensuring that all policies are rigorously applied, achieve occupancy and staffing targets and identify opportunities for growth and expansion to improve financial performance year on year. An in-depth knowledge of regulatory and quality standards within early years education is crucial to the role as the Operations Director will be responsible for all matters relating to the Group’s Ofsted applications and registrations. About You You will have a degree or equivalent experience in Early Years Education, Business Management or a related field along with business acumen in a multi-site early years, education or care setting, ideally within a similar sized organisation (turnover circa £10m). With a commercial mindset and the ability to drive the ‘bottom line’, you can expect to be fully hands on leading on the development of the operating model including staffing, occupancy and finances. Reporting to the Board of Directors and stakeholders, you will be an articulate and persuasive networker representing RAFAKidz throughout the industry and make a significant impact within a growing mission-driven organisation providing exceptional early years education and care.
