Our client is a highly successful manufacturing business who’ve been around for over 70 years. With operations across the UK this growing business is looking for a strong Operations/Site Manager to add to their senior leadership team at their site near Worksop.
Job Description
The Site Manager (Manufacturing Operations) will be responsible for leading and managing all day-to-day aspects across the facility. This will include:

Responsibility for Production, Operations, Engineering and Logistics •
Leading, managing and developing the team, fostering career progression and a mindset of continuous improvement •
Utilising lean manufacturing techniques to help with operational and site improvements •
Striving for operational excellence with regards to productivity, quality, service and health & safety •
Maintaining close working relationships with other SLT team members such as Procurement, Commercial, Finance and HR The Successful Applicant Successful candidates will have a strong operational background in a manufacturing or production environment. You will also have: •
A demonstrable background in manufacturing and site-wide leadership •
Experience of managing a multi-shift operation with a team size of c.100 •
Understanding of complex, multi-stage manufacturing processes •
A proven continuous improvement skill set •
