Eni , we are looking for a Senior Engineer (Technical Safety) within Eni Progetti in Basingstoke, UK. You will be responsible for ensuring that safety in design is considered a top priority in all our work. This requires an individual who can push safety requirements to the fore on our projects and ensure that the design of the facilities and the management of our projects is consistent with this. Ability to interface successfully with other engineering disciplines and project management is essential, including effective persuasion skills. The candidate shall act as a Senior Engineer, Technical Safety on projects both performing design work and/or leading activities for allocated projects. This will include managing work and resources, providing technical leadership, producing deliverables, input to schedules, key safety reviews, etc. on projects from feasibility phases through Basic Design and FEED to Detailed Design. As a member of the engineering department at Eni Progetti you will be responsible for: Undertake analysis, calculations and/or engineering studies delegated as his/her responsibility on a project (i.e. produce technical safety deliverables) in accordance with Company Standards/Procedures and international codes/standards. The successful candidate shall have demonstrable experience of producing deliverables in the field of Technical Safety, such as:

Loss Prevention Activities (e.g. F&G Design, Active/Passive Fire Protection, Hazardous Area Classification), Risk Analysis (e.g. QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA, Flare/Vent Studies), Development of HSE related Philosophies, and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Studies HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessment

Supervise the activities of subordinates assigned to his/her responsibility to ensure achievement of technical standards and production schedule for each project. Check and approve documents and drawings produced by others according to departmental procedures. Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues (both inside and outside of the Safety Systems Group) in interpretation of and solutions for safety design requirements. Coordinate and expedite discipline or multidiscipline interfaces associated with assigned areas of responsibility. Participate, when assigned, in the development of Company standards and procedures. Assist, when required, in manhour estimates and planning activities associated with proposals and projects. Keep abreast of the technical developments in the area of technology and with associated National and International standards, and company and departmental procedures and methods. Active participation in technical safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL shall also be expected. This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: Able to demonstrate significant knowledge of technical safety aspects and development of associated deliverables within the energy business. Able to demonstrate significant experience in Risk Identification and Assessment. Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Degree in relevant engineering discipline, for example, Chemical Engineering, accredited by the relevant chartered engineering institute (for example, the IChemE). The ability to work effectively as part of a close team both within the Safety Systems Group and with other engineering departments in a project is considered essential. Projects can be relevant to onshore/offshore oil/gas production facilities, LNG, CCS, and renewables production facilities. Chartered Engineer or certified process safety practitioner status preferred. Location:
