European Patent Attorney , and you’ll do the same. As an

European Patent Attorney , you will join our growing IP team and this position plays a crucial role in all activities needed to secure the Group’s IP/patent rights, including providing guidance and support for IP matters arising from global Research & Development projects, Oppositions and other contested matters, due diligence, and transactional matters. You will report directly to the VP, Global Head of IP and this is an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative healthcare-focused organization. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Perform prior art investigations and patentability assessments. Draft and prosecute patent applications. Provide infringement and validity advice. Monitor and assess third-party patents. Perform due diligence in support of the Group’s activities. Provide support to opposition and litigation proceedings. Instruct outside counsel on IP matters on behalf of the Group. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and practices that comply with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct training sessions and provide educational resources to employees and managers on IP matters to promote IP awareness and compliance within the organization. Perform additional duties as assigned. YOUR PROFILE Fully qualified European Patent Attorney with a background in an Engineering discipline – biomedical, mechanical, electrical, or related. Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a European Patent Attorney preferably in Med-Tech, healthcare or a related industry, acquired in an IP law firm or in-house IP department. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and group presentation skills. Proven ability to provide strategic legal advice and counsel to global business partners within varied functions and global business units. High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior. YOUR COMPETENCIES Create a sense of purpose or vision for self, group or team, demonstrating a strong team-oriented philosophy.
