Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Software Engineer
to work within the
defence sector
on cutting-edge
Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems . This role is perfect for someone who's passionate about developing innovative software solutions for advanced camera systems and video signal processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop
serial interfaces
connecting advanced camera systems to text-based terminal displays.
Use
IBM Rhapsody
for model-driven development, contributing to the design and implementation of complex software systems.
Write and optimize software in
C++
using
Visual Studio , ensuring efficient performance for video signal processing and transmission.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet high-security and performance standards for defence systems.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience
in software engineering, ideally with
video signal processing
or
defence-related systems .
Expertise in
C++
and
Visual Studio .
Experience with
Rhapsody Modelling
for systems engineering.
Familiarity with
ISR systems
and
camera/surveillance technology .
British citizen , eligible for
security clearance
(essential for the role).
Ability to work onsite in
Glasgow
3 days a week, with a hybrid work model.
