Responsibilities:
Take lead in assessing current conditions of assets across the Northeast. Develop and maintain maintenance, renewal and repair specification compliant with relevant legislative and industry standards. Lead in undertaking audits, inspections and other activities aimed at evaluating compliance of the delivery units against standards and specifications. Provide technical advice to internal teams and internal/external stakeholders. Design and trial new systems and equipment. Supervisory experience and checking of others' work.
Requirements:
Chartership status (advantageous). Degree qualified or equivalent in a mechanical or electrical discipline. Obtain industry experience assessing the condition of electrical and mechanical assets within infrastructure and public sectors which are transferable within the rail industry. Have excellent communication skills, decision making and problem solving capability.
