Position Overview:

The firm is looking for a 2nd to 5th-year associate with a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or life sciences to join its Patent Litigation team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on high-profile patent litigation cases, collaborating with some of the best legal minds in the industry and supporting clients in resolving intricate intellectual property disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

Representing clients in all stages of patent litigation, from pre-suit investigations through trial and appeal, in matters involving cutting-edge technologies.

Conducting detailed analysis of complex technical issues in electrical engineering, computer science, or life sciences to support patent claims and defenses.

Drafting pleadings, briefs, discovery materials, and other litigation-related documents.

Working closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies, engage with experts, and manage all phases of litigation.

Collaborating across practice groups to provide comprehensive legal solutions, with a focus on intellectual property and patent law.

Candidate Requirements:

2-5 years of patent litigation experience at a leading law firm.

A strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, and/or life sciences is required.

Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle complex litigation matters.

Admission to the New York Bar.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
