The Role for Accounts Senior We are seeking a qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, or ACCA) to join our dedicated agricultural team. This role focuses on preparing year-end accounts and VAT returns for farming and landed estate clients, offering an opportunity to work within a specialised and highly valued client sector.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity to build strong client relationships while gaining exposure to a niche sector.

Key Responsibilities for Accounts Senior

* Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies following firm procedures.

* Monitor and manage budgets to ensure accounts are prepared efficiently.

* Compile monthly and quarterly VAT returns.

* Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver exceptional client service.

Attributes Required for Accounts Senior

* AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification.

* A genuine interest in agricultural and landed estate clients.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; experience with CCH Accounts Production and Xero is an advantage.

* Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

* Client-focused, adaptable, and team-oriented with commercial awareness.
