We’re partnering with a high-growth chartered accountancy practice based near Newbury, seeking a proven Accounts Supervisor to lead their talented team. The Role: Day-to-day management/supervision of a team of 4 Annual accounts preparation for sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and LLPs with relevant disclosures, explanatory notes and schedules. Updating client accounting systems with end of year adjustments. Corporation tax returns and associated computation preparation and supporting schedules. Self-assessment tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, and property investors (including capital gains tax computations). Project managing the company output of client work via delivery through others Relationship management with your clients, getting to know them and their needs better. Working as a service delivery team exceeding client’s expectations. Key Experience: Fully qualified accountant You will have a solid understanding of accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income as well as the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. Relaxed about leading and mentoring other team members. Ideally experience working in practice. Preparation for end of year accounts for a variety of businesses. Tech savvy and able to learn new systems, and work hard (and smart) to deliver as a team. The practice is on a tremendous growth trajectory to achieve its business goals. They harness technology to drive efficiency and allow more time to offer value-add services for clients, as well as the full suite of compliance deliverables. The Accounts Supervisor will be responsible for leading and developing a fantastic team of people, whilst also inheriting a genuinely interesting portfolio of clients to work with.
