St John are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Fundraising Specialist to come and be part of our in-house Shared Services Team, delivering fundraising support services on behalf of our Fundraising Department.

The role will be based at our shared services centre in Sheffield where you will have on-site parking and can work in a hybrid model once your training has been completed.

Shared Services provides a wide range of administrative services supporting the day-to-day activities of St John, including Finance, People, Property, Events and Fleet. The role of Shared Services is fundamental to the success of St John.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C), minimum of 5 including Maths & English, passionate about delivering quality service and will have experience of dealing with fundraising processes in a fast paced, customer orientated environment. You will have an eye for detail, excellent communication and engagement skills and be able to work as part of a dynamic team.

Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics or Raiser Edge Fundraising software is highly desirable.

About the Role

Handles complex and advanced level queries and administrative processes within subject area of expertise

Works within defined processes, liaising with operational teams as appropriate, to deliver effective and efficient administrative support

Own agreed processes within area of subject expertise, working with Shared Services leadership and the relevant operational teams to evolve processes, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement which seeks to delight the customer at every opportunity.

Participate in projects and on multi-functional teams providing advice and contribution in relation to the activities of the team

Provide high quality customer and stakeholder service that places the customer at the heart of all we do and enhances the reputation and efficiency of St John
