What You'll Be Doing: Workflow Management: Oversee the payroll team's operations, monitoring time allocations, budgets, and deadlines to ensure efficient processes. Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their growth and development within the payroll function. Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, collaborating on payroll system enhancements and ensuring accuracy of payroll data. Technical Expertise: Provide advice on payroll-related matters and handle ad hoc queries, demonstrating a deep understanding of payroll legislation and procedures. Comprehensive Payroll Service: Deliver end-to-end payroll solutions for clients of varying sizes and industries, including preparation of essential documents like P45s, P60s, and new starter checklists. Pension Auto Enrolment: Support clients in meeting their pension auto enrolment obligations. What's on offer: Competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000) and benefits package.
