The school is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 5 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at a vibrant and inclusive primary school guided by the values of the Torah. The role involves leading a diverse Year 5 class with varying abilities, including students with challenging behavior. About the school:

This is a growing, one-form entry, voluntary-aided Orthodox Jewish boys' primary school, currently serving nearly 360 pupils. Located in Finchley, in the London Borough of Barnet, the school primarily caters to the Jewish communities of North West London, with some pupils coming from further afield. Many students join the school from the private nursery on-site, and the vast majority of families reside in North West London. At this school, students and staff alike feel valued and supported, fostering a true sense of community and collaboration. Application Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Previous experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 5. Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and implement positive behaviour strategies. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire children of all abilities. Passionate about creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the national curriculum. Manage classroom behavior effectively, especially with pupils who may be disruptive. Implement positive behaviour strategies and reward systems to encourage good behaviour and engagement. Monitor pupil progress, providing support where necessary, particularly for those who may struggle to focus. Build positive relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged in their learning. Ensure a safe and structured learning environment, fostering a positive attitude toward schoolwork. Perks and Benefits:
