Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising and representing a variety of clients, including commercial property owners, occupiers, and residential property portfolio holders, on contentious property matters. Specific areas of focus include:
Business lease renewals and related disputes
Service charge disputes
Dilapidation claims
Break clause issues
Alienation provisions
Commercial rent recovery
Forfeiture proceedings
Tenant-related insolvency matters
The Ideal Candidate:
This position is suited to an experienced property litigation Lawyer who is comfortable managing a busy caseload of complex disputes and working collaboratively with both junior and senior team members. The ideal candidate will have:
Significant experience in property litigation, ideally at partner level
A track record of successfully advising commercial and residential clients
Strong negotiation and communication skills
The ability to offer pragmatic, solutions-driven advice in high-pressure situations
