You will be providing inspiring leadership that drives the development and delivery of learning and development interventions for colleagues in the Children Education and Families (CEF) workforce. In partnership with the Children's Social Care Academy Manager, colleagues, and stakeholders, you will be developing best practice solutions using in-house and external capability that aligns with CEF ambitions, its identified areas of focus, and specialist practice areas. You will manage the delivery of workforce development activities that embrace new ways of working and exploit technology. You will be a supportive manager to a team of Learning and Development professionals, enabling them to reach their potential and to keep improving their skills and impact in pursuit of excellence. You will also provide management oversight and robust governance of our Apprenticeship and Qualifications Centre, which is subject to inspection by Ofsted.
