Spectrum IT are working with a renowned and international brand to recruit for a brand new position:

Contract Business Tool Specialist & Trainer . This role has arisen due to a planned transition of training responsibilities from an external global agency to the in-house regional management/team. This is an initial 6 month contract role with scope to further extend, engagement via an umbrella company and will require you to be onsite 3 days per week in the London office.

In this role, the Contract Business Tool Specialist & Trainer will be responsible for managing the development, deployment, and adoption of creative and innovative online and blended learning programs. You will assess the clients' Search and Merchandising products, CMS and Product Information Management (PIM) systems. Once reviewed, you will then deliver training for the various systems and technologies within the company. This will include running discovery phases and creating training programs for both current and new products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge for key systems and be able to translate this into business-friendly training for brand teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery: Develop and deliver training programs for key systems including: FredHopper (Merchandising), InRiver & .Net (PIM), Drupal & StoryBlok (CMS), and Offer (bespoke). Conduct training sessions for new starters and existing staff, ensuring comprehension and effective use of the systems. Troubleshooting Support: Assist brand teams by troubleshooting issues that arise from misuse or misunderstanding of the systems. Provide on-the-spot training and guidance to resolve these issues. Content Localisation: Identify gaps in training content and determine the need for localisation. Collaborate with global teams to develop and localize training materials to meet regional needs. Technology Rollouts: Participate in the roll-out of new technologies as part of the company's modernisation program. Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new systems through effective training and support. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business teams (Brands) to understand their needs and tailor training programs accordingly. Maintain regular communication with global training teams to align strategies and share best practices.

Key Requirements:

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in FredHopper, InRiver & .Net, with a willingness to develop skills in Drupal, StoryBlok, and bespoke systems. Strong understanding of how business teams use these systems. Training Experience: Proven ability to deliver technical training in a business-friendly manner. Experience in developing and localizing training content. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions. Strong analytical skills to diagnose and address system misuse or misunderstanding. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to engage and motivate learners at various levels of technical proficiency.
