£50,000.00 - £65,000.00 Sutton Recruitment are working exclusively to recruit a permanent HSEQ Manager for a leading manufacturing group who specialises in the production of innovative manufactured products. As the HSEQ Manager, you will work closely with the experienced senior management team and all employees to contribute to the creation of precision-engineered products by creating an exceptional working environment ensuring all elements of HSEQ are at the forefront of all whether employees or visitors to both manufacturing sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As the HSEQ Manager, you will provide technical support and establish clear standards for the organization and develop a strategy that ensures that ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards are successfully adopted and embedded throughout the Organisation. This will include maintaining oversight of ongoing compliance and performance levels at site level. Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills to proactively drive “Change” is a prime requisite, as well as having a can-do, hands-on approach when needed, to work collaboratively with Internal/External stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Main duties will be:

Develop, manage and monitor the HSE Performance of the Businesses. Monitor & Advise on all HSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure the Businesses are compliant and stays compliant with Statutory & Regulatory requirements. Be proactively involved with local environmental authorities to ensure the implementation of agreed policies and procedures. Liaise with Customers & Supply Chains to promote and support HSE matters, ensuring expectations are met. Keep all HSE Processes & Procedures up to date. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all HSEQ matters at site level. Conduct & train on all HSEQ requirements using Internal/External resources as required. Maintain awareness of evolving industry HSEQ regulations and Best Practices. Manage all Emergency Procedures, Signage (5S), Visual Management, PPE Adherence, COSHH etc. at site level. Review all existing Policy Documents, Control Documents and Control Measures implemented. Develop and implement a strong, robust Health & Safety Culture, liaising with staff at all levels. Deliver Continuous Improvement (CI) in Health, Safety and Environment Standards and Practices. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Proven HSE Professional with a strong manufacturing background and/or a similar role. Strong leadership skills to consistently drive all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment improvements. A hands-on implementer of “Change”. Possesses good industry and topical knowledge of HSE Management Systems. Good computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook). A proven motivator who possesses the ability to develop team working ethos. Good Standard of verbal & written Communication and Interpersonal Skills is essential. Self-motivated Individual with a results-driven approach but also able to work as part of a team. Knowledge & experience of effective problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given. Health & Safety - NEBOSH Certificate and above or similar. Full UK driving License is essential. What's on offer:

Full time permanent position £50,000.00 - £65,000.00 salary 24 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (Birthday off) Nest Pension; 3% client, 5% employee To be suitable for this role, you must have a full driving license and your own vehicle to begin with due to the client locations.
