Our local authority client, based in East London, is looking to appoint an experienced Environmental Health Food Officer to help deliver their food hygiene and standards inspection programme, investigating complaints regarding food and health & safety matters. You will also be assisting with a variety of other functions including health & safety at work, investigation of accidents, and infectious disease control. Your work will include providing comments on licensing and planning applications, as well as event consultations.
Due to the nature of this role, our client can only consider those from an EH background. You must hold the EH Degree and EHORB/Higher Food Certificate. You must also have completed at least 20 hours of CPDs covering the last 2 years and hold/have completed the Competency Framework.
This is a 4 month contract and will continue until the end of January for now. Rates will start from £40 per hour. Full time is a preference, but we are happy to submit anyone looking for part time hours as well.
