Satis Tax is a boutique US/UK tax services firm with 8-10 employees working out of their Pall Mall office. The team is led by Ross Badger who co-founded Satis Tax and Satis Asset Management in 2012. Satis is one of the few firms to provide specialist wealth and tax planning advice and services to Americans living in the UK. This is a tax role, principally based at our London office. The duties will include: Actively managing a client portfolio to ensure US and UK personal tax compliance requirements are filed timely and accurately. Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for business development. Reviewing tax returns and work of junior members of staff. Identifying and communicating potential risks and technical matters to senior members of the team. Managing the finance of an engagement, including monitoring budgets. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills: 3+ years of tax experience in US/UK Private Client tax, preferably with experience in dealing with High-Net-Worth clients, private equity executives, and business owner clients. Qualified member of ATT and an Enrolled Agent (EA). Experience with CCH Axcess for the preparation of US tax returns. Capable of proactively managing their client portfolio whilst working closely with senior and junior members of the team. IT competent and familiar with Microsoft computerised packages. The ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A team player with good interpersonal skills. The package will include: Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility. Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to 1 week’s salary. Discretionary annual Summer Bonus. Private Medical Insurance following completion of a 3-month probationary period (this is a taxable benefit). Death In Service scheme cover (4x salary). Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of a 3-month probationary period. Annual Leave of 25 days per annum (pro-rata), with 3 days normally taken at Christmas/New Year. Recruitment bounty. Flexible hours of work. Payment of one professional subscription per annum.
