We are looking for passionate Veterinary Surgeons to join us at Heath Vets, Rhiwbina! You will be mainly based at our main branch where no day is the same, we enjoy a varied caseload with case continuity and actively encourage our vets to work up their cases. You will be surrounded by a knowledgeable team who are always happy to advise and support you. There will be occasional sole charge at our smaller branches. Typically, our full-time Vets work 4 days per week with hours between 9 am-7 pm and a lunch break in the middle. We are a well-established, first-opinion practice based in Cardiff, with access to an excellent mix of countryside and city life. Across our 3 branches, we are well-equipped with an in-house lab, digital x-ray, K laser, u/s scanner, endoscopic equipment, and a brand new dental x-ray. Our facilities allow us to do as much as we can in-house, allowing our vets full clinical freedom. About the Team and Culture
Our team of 4 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 ANA, is led by our supportive Clinical and Practice Directors. Our CD is a very experienced vet with a passion for coaching and development. Dentals are also a big focus for our team with one of our RVNs going to Dublin for CPD. Across the team we have a wealth of experience so there is support both surgically and medically - all of us are willing to help one another and discuss cases. CPD/Certificates and further learning is actively encouraged and supported. We recognise that our people are fundamental to the success of our business.
