Direct, administer, and coordinate the internal operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the CEO and the Board of Directors. Key Accountabilities:
Develop the internal operations strategy aligned with the strategy of the company to ensure vertical and horizontal integration with other interfacing initiatives and projects. Leadership Manage the effective achievement of internal operations objectives – setting individual objectives, recruiting qualified staff, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff. Budgets and Plans Direct internal operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria, and to preserve the capital funds invested in the organization. Develop and maintain annually and quarterly plans of the internal operations within the organization. Participate in the development and preparation of long-term plans and budgets based upon broad organizational goals and objectives. Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures Direct the development and implementation of procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow. Develop and establish operating policies consistent with the company’s policies and objectives, ensuring their adequate execution. Maintenance Plans and Programmes Oversee the formulation of plans and programmes for maintenance activities based on requirements and ensure details of various commissioned systems and facilities are included in the plan. Performance Monitor and ensure the business meets targets on labour productivity, materials use efficiency, and planning metrics. Health, Safety, and Environment Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the company to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products or services, and a responsible environmental attitude. Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or in any specialized related fields. A minimum of 18 years of work experience, with 9 years in relevant MRO functions. A Master's degree in business administration or professional certification is preferred.
