Opportunity for an experienced Senior Claims professional to work in an innovative and growing Non-Marine Claims team. The right candidate will be responsible for managing multinational and multi-layered complex claims, ensuring all claims are valid, processed and paid within agreed timescales, complying with required regulations. You will provide value-added claims service to clients across a range of business areas. Working collaboratively within the Broking teams and network of Global offices. Key Accountabilities Strong emphasis on client satisfaction, liaising with clients ensuring all queries, data requests and resolution of queries are dealt with promptly. Ensure all internal record systems and databases are maintained and up-to-date and regulative requirements and procedures adhered to. Working towards being subject matter expert for complex technical matters and queries. Review and manage production of claim statistics. Oversee the unit regarding product issues affecting performance. Provide claim analytics, identifying trends and suggesting efficiencies based on data and analytics. Review claims authority ensuring it’s adequate and is coherent to business needs. Actively monitor claims service performance and challenge where necessary to ensure client satisfaction, delivering a value-added service. Review cash-flow process and highlight any potential concerns. Manage service provider relationships and ensure service levels are maintained. Develop business relationships with markets, clients and collaborate with colleagues to provide optimal service to clients. Provide guidance and share claims technical expertise and knowledge with team members, with the view of developing and retaining talent. Being proactive by planning, identifying, and implementing process and system efficiencies. Skills & Knowledge Excellent knowledge of the (re)insurance market to address client and technical issues. Strong level of experience producing and reporting statistical claims data to clients. Ability to deal effectively with technical, complex, and bespoke documentation. Highly organised and able to prioritise/re-prioritise due to constantly changing circumstances. Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills, and able to learn new platforms. Team player and willing to work flexibly and assist colleagues as required. Sound claims technical experience, with particular focus on Energy Claims and/or Financial Lines claims with a focus on Latin American business desirable but not essential. Experience acting as complex claims technical referral point. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered to attract the best candidate.
