As a Partnership Senior Tax Manager, you will be part of the private client tax team working on tax advisory and tax compliance services to professional practices and the partners of those firms. Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent client service by maintaining client relationships. Review complex tax returns, tax computations, tax reserves and tax payment schedules. Manage HMRC enquiries, with support from our tax disputes team, where necessary. Day to day responsibility for large compliance clients. Monitor time limits and elections for compliance portfolio. Review HMRC correspondence of compliance and advisory nature. Liaise proactively with clients on advisory matters. Assist Partners in, and where appropriate, lead tax planning projects. Provide support and, where appropriate, lead at client meetings. Responsible for timely billing and monitoring budgets. Delegate tasks and review work from junior team members. Maintain technical knowledge. Training and Development Attend internal training sessions. Act as coach for junior team members. Appraise and provide feedback for junior team members. Prepare and present technical training sessions. Engage in personal business development activities and support business development activities of the team. Assisting Other Staff Members Provide support to other staff members and Partners on chargeable and non-chargeable work when required. Compliance Ensure procedures are adhered to. Involvement in some departmental administrative tasks. Assist the Partners with fee quotes and growing the business. With a formalised departmental and firm-wide program, develop contacts with firm and externally. Join the mentor scheme to help the development of their career. Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience Significant partnership and private client tax experience gained within the professional services and or industry. Technically capable tax adviser who is able to assist in complex client work. Exemplary organisational and communication skills. Demonstrable experience of managing people. Appetite to grow business development skills. Professional Qualifications and Education Relevant professional qualification(s) (CTA and/or ACA). Planning and Organising: must be able to plan workload in order to prioritise to meet conflicting deadlines and cope with pressure. Must be able to instruct others, delegate appropriately and control delegated work. Written and Oral Communication: Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner. Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members. Customer Focus: Meeting deadlines and responding to client needs. Team Work: Provide link in chain to supervise staff members below and support Partners above. Maintain Technical Expertise: Maintain technical knowledge. Need to be able to understand issues, spot potential problems and provide solutions. Additional Information
