A highly reputable audit and advisory firm working exclusively with charities and social purpose organisations is looking to hire. The firm has been growing steadily over the last few years and is looking for an Audit Manager to join the audit team delivering client work and providing coaching to junior colleagues. Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing end-to-end client assignments within agreed budget and timetable. Leading, developing, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, from initial contact and tendering through to ongoing fee negotiations, retention, and expansion of work with them. Leading, managing, and developing people, actively participating in the training and development of our trainees. Contributing to the implementation of technical changes, client training, and the firm’s development. What we are looking for:

A Chartered Accountant with an audit qualification and experience in managing audits, including audits with a range of levels of turnover and complexity and interaction to FD/chief executive level. You will be used to managing a portfolio of clients as well as participating in the new client tendering process. We are looking for an individual who has experience coaching more junior colleagues and ideally managing trainees going through their ACA qualification. A deep knowledge and understanding of the charity and not-for-profit sector is essential, along with the ability to deliver strategic planning and thinking. You will enjoy working with other people and possess good face-to-face and written communication skills, particularly when interacting with people from a non-financial background. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a matrix management structure and have a good ability to manage multiple deadlines. Work with a friendly, supportive team of people:
