In recent times, they've made excellent, forward-thinking decisions and have grown to employ over 30 staff with a sound administrative support function. Based in smart, commutable West End offices, they're now seeking to employ a Senior Quantity Surveyor to specifically help manage a couple of hotels, a luxury private residential project, and a premium student accommodation scheme, all based in London.
But, our clients' reach doesn't stop there; they're also managing various commercial office refurbishments and occupier fit-outs, plus specialist healthcare projects. Construction projects range from £0.5m to more than £50m.
It's no surprise then that they're looking for an exceptional candidate. Those wishing to apply MUST be MRICS (by UK accreditation only), and you must have a minimum of 5 years London-based PQS consultancy experience. It's anticipated that you'll already be working in the local market, be in a client-facing role, and have the skills to manage projects independently. Your principled role will be managing projects through all pre & post contract administration stages, and continually smiling alongside your very happy clients! Those familiar with Cost X would be at an advantage.
Please note that our client, regrettably, cannot support those requiring VISA applications or ongoing sponsorship. The role offers flexibility with a working from home policy of one day per week. For high performers, there's an opportunity to step into the overall management team in relatively short course too.
That's performance dependent of course, but you'll have already been supporting & assisting junior level staff along the way. In return for an excellent career opportunity, our client is willing to offer a generous starting salary up to £70k basic with excellent benefits including private medical insurance, Pension with Aegon (3% contribution) + Discretionary bonus + 28 days holiday per annum (3 compulsory at Christmas) + professional subscription paid.
