1 What Is the Opportunity?

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director to lead our Regulatory support activities, Third Party Risk Management and Operational Resilience functions. This role is critical in ensuring that our business remains compliant with current and future regulations, while also maintaining robust operational resilience. The successful candidate will manage a team of professionals and will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate third-party risks and enhance our operational resilience. What Will You Do?

Third Party Risk Management: Implement and continuously improve a comprehensive third-party risk management framework. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments of third-party vendors and partners. Monitor and report on third-party risk exposure and performance. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with procurement, compliance, legal, and other relevant departments to manage third-party contracts and relationships. Operational Resilience: Develop and maintain an operational resilience strategy and framework. Identify and assess potential operational risks and vulnerabilities. Implement and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to operational resilience. Lead incident response and crisis management activities. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of current and emerging regulations affecting third-party risk management and operational resilience. Ensure that the team is fully compliant with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board on compliance status and risk exposure. Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required. Governance Programme: Develop and implement a robust governance programme to ensure compliance with expanding regulatory requirements across all of our business units. Establish and maintain governance policies, procedures, and controls. Ensure that governance activities are well-documented and can be easily evidenced to the board and regulators. Conduct regular reviews and audits of governance practices to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness. Prepare and present governance reports to senior management, the board, and regulatory bodies. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management and operational resilience professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team. Set clear objectives and performance expectations for team members. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate effectively with senior management, the board, and other key stakeholders on risk management, operational resilience, and governance matters. Represent the company in industry forums and working groups related to third-party risk management, operational resilience, and governance. Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

What is a Must Have?

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CISSP) is preferred. Extensive experience in third-party risk management, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and governance within the insurance or financial services industry. Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II, EIOPA guidelines). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What Is in It for You?
