About the Role: Working alongside a thriving group of seasoned consultants, you will play a key role within our consulting division, developing new business, driving innovation and being a leadership of EMEA consulting team. For the right person, this position will provide the opportunity to become part of a dynamic, supportive and truly international team and provide unrivalled commodity exposure and experience.

The successful candidate will meaningfully contribute to grow the revenue of the CRU Consulting business and will also play a key role in the development and delivery of our varied consulting projects across our business. The ability to provide intellectual leadership and support innovation, develop client relationships and manage a team will be the keys to your success in this role.

Responsibilities: Business Development and Sales: Build and nurture client relationships, promoting CRU consultancy services across EMEA and globally. Leverage personal and internal leads to identify, pitch, and secure new projects. Contribute innovative business development ideas in management and marketing meetings. Negotiate project contracts, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and value for profitable and client-satisfying delivery. Present, follow up, and resolve client queries on projects. Project and People Management: Lead projects as a "Project Director" or "Senior Advisor," defining research strategies, securing resources, and setting clear objectives. Manage and mentor consultants, with a focus on performance development and appraisals. Collaborate with other CRU teams to enhance client offerings, share best practices, and drive internal initiatives. Drive innovation by introducing new ideas for business growth within CRU Consulting. Lead knowledge-sharing and mentoring within the team. Contribute creative insights and develop original content related to the mining and metals industry. Qualifications: Relevant degree (e.g. Engineering, Economics) with a minimum of 12 years experience in a related industry

Knowledge and Experience: Proven project management experience, ideally across multiple locations and cultures; consulting experience preferred. Strong management skills across diverse skill sets and experience levels. Intellectual leadership with deep expertise in metals, mining, and/or energy markets. Successful track record in business development and marketing. Line management experience is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Highly goal-oriented, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Effective leader, motivator, and mentor with the ability to provide clear direction in ambiguous situations. Collaborative, approachable, and committed to team and client success. Exemplary work ethic and focus on exceeding client expectations with a commercial mindset. Strong understanding of broader business objectives and support for cross-organizational initiatives. Skilled in knowledge sharing and mentoring junior team members.
