As the Head of English, you will assume a crucial leadership role, overseeing the English department and driving academic excellence within the subject. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to have a significant impact on the learning journey of our students. The position will commence in April. As the Head of English at Wayman Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an outstanding English curriculum, supporting and mentoring teachers, and fostering a love for literature and language among students. We are looking for an inspiring and visionary leader who can motivate and guide both students and staff to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the English department, providing guidance and support to teachers Develop and implement an exceptional and engaging English curriculum Collaborate with fellow academic leaders to enhance cross-curricular initiatives Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and implementing strategies for improvement Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Ensure the effective use of resources and technology within the department Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' academic performance Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of English education Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English or a related field Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience Proven experience as a Head of English or in a similar leadership role Outstanding knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum Strong leadership and management skills Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Up-to-date knowledge of current educational trends and best practices Passion for English education and commitment to academic excellence Application If you meet the requirements and are passionate about leading the English department, we invite you to submit your resume detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
